Year after year, other vacuums keep on costing
Other vacuum cleaners are still designed to need replacement bags and filters – and the cost soon adds up. Dyson vacuum cleaners don’t need bags and have lifetime washable filters, so there’s no extra cost. See how much you can save...

Bags are bad for the environment
Dyson did away with the bag in 1992. Bags clog with dirt and dust and cause vacuums to lose suction - and they can clog up our environment. Nowadays many vacuum cleaner bags are made from a mixture of plastic and paper and are not accepted in recycling streams. Like much UK waste, they end up in landfill, where they take hundreds of years to decompose.
Dyson helping to reduce landfill
With a Dyson vacuum, you can simply empty your machine onto the compost heap where the dust and fluff will be break down into useful fertiliser
