Dyson technology for homes with pets.
Dyson Animal vacuum cleaners have patented Root Cyclone™ technology for powerful constant suction. They also come with tools and accessories to remove dirt and pet hair from the home and car.
Mini turbine head
The Dyson Mini turbine head has an air-driven brush bar that removes pet hair and dirt from confined spaces like upholstery, stairs and inside the car. A lint picker with tiny bristles catches fine hair and fibres - and rolls them into balls so they can be more easily removed. A clean air turbine reduces bulk and weight and prevents obstructions. The cover is made from tough polycarbonate.
Root Cyclone™ technology
Ordinary vacuums rely on bags or filters. But the problem is they quickly clog with dust and dirt and suction fades. Dyson vacuum cleaners use patented Root Cyclone™ technology instead. Centrifugal forces up to 268,000G capture dust, dirt and pet hair, with no loss of suction.
Motorized brush bar
The latest Dyson Animal upright machines have a motorized brush bar. Stiff nylon bristles spin up to 90 times per second, agitating carpet pile to dislodge ground-in dirt and pet hair. The brush bar can be turned off to protect hard floors and delicate rugs.
Motorized head
DC23 Motorhead Animal has an extra motor in the cleaner head, powering the stiff nylon bristles to remove ground-in dirt and pet hair from carpets. A foot switch turns off the motor to protect delicate surfaces.
DC31 Animal motorized brush bar
The motorized brush bar on the DC31 Animal handheld is housed in tough ABS polycarbonate. Its nylon bristles spin up to 60 times per second for spot cleaning of dirt and pet hair from upholstery, stairs and the car.
HEPA filter
Dyson Animal vacuums have a HEPA filter to capture particles as small as 0.1 microns - 200 times smaller than a full stop.
Approved for allergy sufferers
Dyson Animal uprights and the DC23 Motorhead Animal canister meet or exceed standards for effectively removing allergen-containing dust from carpets. They are certified asthma and allergy friendly™ by the Asthma Society of Canada.
